These markers floated by on our Dampier boat trip whilst on the pilbara project. I was shooting with Tony Hewitt on the front of the boat when this took our eye. Wonder what Tony got. Single capture with the Nikon D3x. The image was overlaid with an aerial pic I took of the mangrove flats just south of town. It was also stylised with Nik colour efex pro. See Team Digital if you want to buy a copy. I seem to be using it on every image these days.

Interesting CF. Mate of mine worked for Westrac and had to climb rope ladders to get up on these. He was not impressed!
Is it just me that can’t see a pic?
that would be a bit scary David, still they were in the water so it wouldn’t be too bad if you fell!
Might just be you Damo, we will see. Looks fine on my computer.
Ahh, I see it on Safari or Google Chrome – doesn’t seem to show up under Firefox for the Mac .. For me anyway… weird!
Same here Damo, but I’m Firefox on a PC. The others show okay…
OK on Firefox on my iMac here. Nice moody shot – seems to imply that sense of slow movement even though it is static.
Were these markers the legs of a jack up barge?
I think they might have been Jamie so probably not markers at all.
