Hi all

He’s the new man ( lad ) no doubt about it . You might have to spend a bit more than you planned to catch up.
So do we call him Standy now ? Little b**ger fooled most of us .
Slipped the Phase One bit in there Christian…….
He’s got some great looking photos up there and the site looks good too. I’ll have to get around to finishing off my own site sometime, even if the gallery will be a little bare.
Nice site… not sure why people put “photography” all the time in their web address.
Maybe coz its what people do Matt… Nice site by the way ! !
Was just an observation Rod. I don’t see it at the end of your web address or Fletches, Kens, Liks etc etc. It just ads extra text to a web address.
Your right Matt, I said to Sean that ‘seanstanden’ was long enough.
It is also when building a brand too to keep it short and sharp.
Yep indeed he has Talent nice images and a nice site taboot.
Cheers for checking it out fellas, Fletch, soggy beer-soaked mail coming your way soon, the only way to get it there from this distance!
Matt , Tom, Rodd, being an typical impressionable 15 year old, i thought i may as well have some form of indication of what the site involved before you actually went to it. Looking back i know now it was actually a bit of a mistake, but i’m not too fussed until the business card printers start charging me for extra ink used to print ‘photography’ in 12pt text. Only 2 years till the domain expires anyway!
and look at how many times you actually type in an address these days, its all hyperlinked!
Thanks again guys, Tom, big thanks for the design.
Anyone needing a site need not whine,
head the hell over to 37 south design!
…alright that was lame.
Stakky you need to look long term in regards to your business with the web address, sure the domain name expires in two years. But that is two years of marketing that web address and if say in two years time you drop the “photography” from it and register just your name, you will then need to keep both web addresses. The new one that you will now market and then the old one to re direct the two years of traffic that has been going to it. Because your site is so new making the change now will pay off later down the track. If you hunt around buying a new .com.au isn’t that much.
Also you will loose your google ranking and will start from scratch with a new web address in two years time and any hyperlinks on other sites with the old web address will be dead if you don’t end up hosting both address. Change it mate… in two years time you will be thankful for it.
Matt,
Never thoyught of it like that…. good point ! !
Nice work Stakman!
I am in the process of putting a site together as well!
Cheers,
Mark
