I know this came out looking a bit like a Peter Eastway, must be because we both use the P65! Shot this image 5 times then blended the different focusing planes into one mother of a sharp image thanks to Helicon Focus. Going to print this one up tomorrow and take to the Phase One night being held at Team Digital. If you want to see the detail come along on the night.

Hey CF that’s going to be a wicked print, must be cool to have all this gear to play with! The 5D’s still keeping me happy!
Holy Cow! What detail! and a raftload of other superlatives when it comes to image detail. In my next life, I’ll have to get one of those P65s.
Then I come back down to earth and realize that it is the eye that makes the image, not the gear. Just look at Shakky’s stuff. That’s what I do when I want to be humbled.
Still, a very nice piece of work, both yours and the camera’s.
You know my eyes instantly relax when I look at this image, its just that good. Good to see you are loving it!
That is quite a different image and really captures the eye around the frame.
I reckon though that you should have cloned out the fly on the 33rd brick from the top on the left side of the lighthouse
