I just got my new camera bag after having the same old Lowe pro for years. I must say things have changed a lot and this thing looks like it could go into space. It has more hi-tech features than the Space Shuttle and is pretty easy on the eye too. I got to try it out on a recent trip to Bright and it quickly became a favourite part of my kit. It even has a section for a laptop. The best thing is you can now trade in your old bag at Team Digital and get $50 off the price. Hows the name, the “Bumblebee” sounds like a transformer, actually I think it is a transformer. The only thing it didn’t do was turn into a pizza and a carton of beer after a long hard shoot! Luckily we had Tommy P to whip us up a lovely quiche!

Love the yellow interior makes it easy to spot all your gear!
I think that the Beetle-282PL looks great and seems lighter and larger than my old LowePro which is not fun to carry on-board. I’d better pop along to TD and check them out.
Stop copying all my gear, first you get a Gitzo tripod and now a Kata bag
These things are great, Kata also makes bulletproof armour stuff, vests etc. for Israeli army so you know these Kata bags will save you should one get caught up in a brawl!
My Lowepro is still going strong, they are built to last that’s for sure. But I need another bag for my other two panoramic systems and my other assorted goodies.
Benny sorted me out with a 3N1 for day shooting and despite it’s size, Benny the Magician showed how he could pack CFs entire Phase One kit in and still have room left for Tommy P’s makeup bag. Thanks for sorting me out Benny, and not posting embarrassing shots of my trade-in (can’t believe it wasn’t the worst bag you’d received!!)

Muzz Ive got to say I was amazed at how much gear you can fit in the 3N1. Muzz your trade-in wasnt as bad as some, we got a black thing that I think was once a camera bag in a previous life. I might put a picture of the worst trade in on the TD blog. I think I forgot to mention that if you register the bag online with Kata your 5 year warranty goes to a lifetime warranty you may wont to check it out.
Kata bags, they’re just awesome!!! Especially for the tourist/photographer who needs a camera bag and back back all in one. The bumblebee range cleans up in this category.
