Benny from Team Digital gave me the heads up on some new Canon gear that is coming out very soon.
Canon demonstrates the company’s commitment to continually improving lens technology for SLR cameras.
Announcing today:
- Four new Canon Super – Telephoto lenses
- Two new Canon EF Extenders
- One New canon fish eye Zoom lens
- One Canon Tele photo Zoom
The first of these new products will be available toward the end of October and extending through to 2011.

Not to mention there’s now a 60D (or did you think that was a bra size?).
yeah, new 60d. Plastic body, swivel screen, 5.3 fps, HD video… trying to distance itself from the 7d i think. Everybody should get a 50d before they go.
just get a 7d only £75 difference than the 60d no brainer!!!
Here is some info on the new EF 400mm f2.8 IS II USM
http://photography.bhinsights.com/content/canon-ef-400mm-f28-ii-usm.html
You can get info on the others listed above here too. The 400mm prime is supposedly 28% lighter than it’s predecessor with an advanced IS giving a 4-stop advantage over camera shake but it’s retailing at approx $11,000 USD………..OUCH. Having said that the new fish eye looks interesting and reasonably affordable.
Hey CF you hear about the new Grip for the Phase One? looks pretty sweet!
