This one is for Andrea. This is how the building actually looked when I shot it. All out of shape, and with a plain blue sky. See you can make something out of nothing.
Don’t forget to enter the Landscape 500, so far the odds are pretty good you will win a prize.

You certainly seem to have made a large difference in post. I’m 100% sure there will be someone along shortly to decry your use of Potatoshop.

potatoshop, love it Matt, haha. Yep bring it on, anyone what to make a comment about the evils of photoshop, do it now.
Its awesome to see where the image came from and again its the creative mind that makes the end product not photoshop, yeah you have to know how to use it but its the artistic in ones own soul that really produces the image, we don’t cut down painters now do we as we are all artists and all use our minds to find something we love.
clever bastard
Thanks for that Christian I appreciate you posting the original and opening up a can of worms on the whole photoshop side of things lol. It’s really awesome to see what it is that you did.
I gotta say I have had issues with photoshop because sometimes I think it’s cheating especially when your involved with the fashion side of photography and you have bigger girls being made skinny and all that sort of thing but with landscape in particular once you understand more about photography and that sometimes a camera just can’t capture what our eye’s see you start to realize that it is OK and what Christian has done is the real aritstic side of photography, I suppose there’s a difference between photography as such and being an artist with your photography, does that make sense? I hope you get what I mean.
Thanks Christian awesome work on that shot.
I like the original better. he he.
