What a Dicky name! I took this pic late one arvo the day before the workshop was due to start. The tide was pretty high so the wreck wasn’t that impressive. Nice beach though. Phase one P65+ 645DF 45mm lens.
Nice shot mate.. it was one of my favorite places at dawn back when I lived in Brisbane.. here’s one of my favorite shots from there: http://is.gd/gjJij
wow- nothing against the shot, but that thumbnail just has nothing near the effect the bigger image has!!!
i was nearly not going to open it and check it large at all. but i’m glad I did!!
that one is a must for a nice big print in the gallery. and as Tim said it’s one of the better shots of a very photographed location which is awesome. it sure has that wow factor!
Good stuff CF, like the movement and square compo. Something doesnt quite sit right with me with the sky though for some reason?
Wow that has come up a bloody treat that shot. Love the soft colours.
Sweet stuff little buddy!
Interesting colours in the clouds as well…not long till PNG now mate!
Crickey Landscape 500 closes soon!
Looks like you would have gotten your feet wet. Lovely shot and water movement.
Sweet capture there Christian ….
Wow fantastic slow exposure mate. Great graphic statement. The rusted iron even resembles the skeleton of a giant fish! A winner for sure!
Cheers
Dave
Nice shot mate and i really like the pelicans in the previous post.

Nice. I’m a big fan of sqaure compositions – you don’t see them very often – especially with landscapes….
Sweet motion in the water, just draws you in.
Your getting goooood Christian! Nice one mate.
If all dickies looked like that there would be a lot more women landscapers. Beautiful shot!
oops I meant to say beaches
now thats cool
probably the best and most interesting shot of the Dickey Beach wreck I’ve seen yet!
too kind Tim!
Mmm sorry about the anonymous comment Fletch, twas me!
ahh the anonymous blog poster! Thanks David.
Very nice shot there CF.
Nice contrast between the static and the motion. Looks wet – I hope you wore your Dicky bathers!
