Take a good look at this beautiful beach. It may well not be so pristine in the near future. When we pulled into this bay I thought I was in Esperance. This is a spot the locals love and the tourists don’t even know about.
I was talking to my mum and dad today, they are becoming environmentalists too! Mum was telling me how her family would go swimming and fishing at Kwinana. She said it was pristine and they loved going there. We all know what happened there and that bit of coast has been lost forever to industry. The social impacts from the industry at Kwinana are huge. Don’t let the Kimberley coast go down the same path.
Oh and to any surfers out there there was a stonking right hander coming off this point, albeit a foot high!! But on a cyclone swell??? Who knows!

Beautiful one day, industrial the next. How they can say this is unremarkable is beyond me! Priceless!
Hmmm not bad mate. But if it was in Cottesloe it was be truly remarkable.
Isn’t it funny hove sarcastic we have all become over Barnett’s “Unremarkable” comment!
Cheers
Dave
I think that comment of his will come back to bite him one day soon.
Just watched the Stateline W.A article. Love Geoffrey Cousins’ description of Colin Barnett as a ‘jumped up little poltician that no one will remember”
Could not have said that better myself! Put these images to work Christan!
Another truly unremarkable (gotta love that word) piece of coast line. I hate to see Kimberley turn into Kwinana, awful build up ruined area.
Tim, likewise on the “pollie no one will remember” great comment. Geoff Cousins seems very cool.
Mate – I just wish there was something that pristine within 3 hours of Sydney…
