A bit of industry is good for the soul! I love this pic but it didn’t make it to the Pilbara Project exhibition, or the book I think! Anyway it wasn’t shot on the Phase One P65+ it was shot on the Nikon D3x. A mighty camera and king of the DSLR’s.
Make sure you check out the exhibition at the FORM gallery Cnr Murray and King St Perth or at the Courthouse Gallery in Port Hedland.

Very Nice work here Christian – I like it and lots to look at in there.
I really like this shot mate nicely worked.
Yeah I love this shot it works very well indeed busy but very simple I’m not sure why they didn’t pick this one for the exhibition eh.
Oh it looks better printed on Canson though than on here eh mate
You said it Brett, the best paper on the planet.
Yup, it’s stunning mate, curators know nothing, this belonged in there for sure!
If I had the money, I’d sell my gear and get that D3x, it’s the king indeed!
Thanks Flembot, or is that Wetbot now?
Man these industrial images of yours are so clear with so much detail …
Looks good Christian, vibrant and gritty at the same time. These can be some of the hardest shots to take I reckon.
Thanks Tim, how you fairing mate?
Not bad mate, taking it day by day!
Cheers,
This one grabbed me right from the start. I haven’t quite made the leap from the industrial portrait type images to the full altered landscapes yet – I like them better with people in there somewhere. This has such a rich feel to it, really nice.
I would have to agree, this is really good and the processing makes it.
