I have just started a Pro Feedback website where I can now critique peoples photographs and offer help or advice as to how the image can be improved.
If you have an image you think has potential but you are unsure about what it needs to make it a gold award winning print then submit it to my Pro Feedback site and I can point you in the right direction.
The cost is $25 per image and the feedback will be brutal, honest and worthwhile. No niceties that you will find on the blogs, the truth as I see it. Enter at your own risk here!

How in depth will you go on your critique? Honestly, $25 seems like a very small fee for such a service.
Steve if you want to see the level of feedback go to http://www.pro-feedback.com/ and see what the others have done. As I haven’t done any yet I can’t show what you would get. I would make sure though that it was pretty thorough. Also thinking about a full working in photoshop critique too at probably $50.00 where I would work the image and return with layers. Still in the pipeline. The thing is I critique work all the time and now
I will have more incentive and be more honest! Cool, being paid to tell it how it is!
I have used the service once before for a photographer in London … I found it to be very good … I’d like to try this one out … But could be scary stuff …
Okay mate,
The ball is now in your court, as we say. I’m looking forward to seeing the assessment on the image.
Do you not want to sleep at night Christian?? How are you ever going to get through all those emails now!!
How to lose friends and influence people …. and get paid for it .
My critique is brutal, honest and totally useless but its free.
It’s fair too – I’ve even heard you critique your own work as “pure $hit”.
Yep …. brutal and honest .
Didn’t I critique one of yours at the workshop … you ended up in tears !!!!!
Tears of joy mate – 3/10 from you was like winning APPA Gold!
Thats my type of critique! you can come into my gallery and tell me what you think anytime. Bring coffee.
…. this is gonna hurt ……
This should be fun. Have to give it a go sometime!
I think what Christian has failed to let everyone know, is that in order to see the specialist (CF), you will need to get a referral from a General Image Practitioner (G.I.P), Me!! This is quite handy, because I have only recently graduated from the West Manjimup Technological Institute of General Image Practitioners.
Consultation fee is $38, this will then give you a referral to see the specialist (CF).
The length of the consultation will be as long as it takes for me to open up my inbox and read your email.
Payment options – we prefer cash. Credit card facility available with a 15.786% surcharge on all transactions!!
You will be able to claim a percentage of your consultation fee through the new Imagecare system, which is about to be rolled out by the government. I can tell you that the fee structure of the Imagecare system will be something like this;
Nikon users – exempt from fees.
Nikon users in denial (Canon users) – 22% of your gross income.
Sony, Olympus, Pentax and other users – not covered under this scheme (buy a Nikon)
Phase One users – If you can afford one of these, you will not be entitled to the Imagecare system!!!
If you have Private Imagecover Insurance, stiff shit, you’re still gonna pay for the Imagecare system.
If the consultation is due to a Photocomp Claim, the consultation fee will double (for no apparent reason).
I hope this information has been helpful.
Kind regards,
Dr Jamie Nicolaou
P.S – I must warn, this is the sort of shit you can come up with when you are stuck in a Squirrel, picking avocados all day, with way too much time on your hands!!!
You had me fooled for a while there Jamie, i thought you really did work for the government. you may want to rephrase or at least explain how and why you are stuck in a squirrel…
I’m a farmer Adam, and if you’re not familiar with a squirrel (not the acorn eating animal!!) it’s a cherry picker!!
Just as well your not stuck in a cat.
They are. Bit weird down in manjimup Adam.
I hope you had a laugh……it took all my brain power to come up with that!!!
Cool exempt of all fees!
Also Dr. Nicolaou I have this rash………..
David, you can get a cream for that rash……please don’t send me an image of it!!!
Stuck in a squirrel picking avo’s isnt a bad way to spend your day Jamie!! I mean there isnt much else to do in Manji really!! lol ( I shouldnt laugh my hubby is from Manji! lol )
So, how long does it actually take to review an image? Or, is this one of those “I will review your images every second Tuesday of every third month between 11:00 and 11:15?
Yeah, I know you need your weekends off, mate. After all, that table you are refinishing is probably still waiting for you to finish sanding it before you apply a gazillion coats of polyurethane (or beer).
Haha steve. Still trying to find something wrong with it. It is a pretty perfect image. Will do it tonight when the munchkins are tucked up in bed. Anyway suspense is a great way to add value !!! Oh also forgot to mention I have man flu too so only functioning on one lung.
Check out this telephoto lens for the new iPhone 4.
And its only $35US, value for money compared with paying $8500 for a 400mm f/2.8

All I have to say is that $25 is well worth the input, feedback, and effort that Christian puts into his critiques, folks. This is a valuable service and I highly recommend it to all, novice and advanced alike!
Thanks for the rap Steve. Cheers mate.
Come on Jamie being stuck in a squirrel picking avo’s isnt a bad way to spend your day!! I mean there isnt much else to do in Manji really anyway!! lol ( I shouldnt laugh my hubby is from manji lol!!!! )
