I like this image. Different to my previous work. I like the desaturated colour, the mood and even though it is a cool wintery scene the warm tone makes it kind of cosy! Does that make sense?
Cape Naturaliste, one of my favourite places to shoot. Phase One P65+, my favourite camera to use! Had some large Phase shots framed this week. Put one on the wall an hour ago. just got to see it before it sold off the wall. Couldn’t believe it, I wanted to see it hang around for a bit longer than that!

The desat look rocks! Awesome. When I look at this I want to change two things. Swing camera to the left a bit (as I find the right side much more interesting) and move the horizon a bit out of center.
So many new Phase shots, you must have become really good at rebooting that thing quickly now and still getting the shot

Hey CF, I find desaturated images much more appealing. I often process this way like the Hongkong compilation image I did. Im down south to Walpole and Denmark and heading home your way to Mandurah so will pass by through saturday if your around cheers Adrian

Have to agree with the other commenters here, the desaturated look definitely works for this image. Makes it look almost like a painting. Have been experimenting a lot with desaturated or even monochrome post-processing myself lately, in an attempt to achieve a more minimalist kind of feel.

First of all you complain that you can’t sell your shots for enough or that you can’t sell your artistic stuff and know your complaining that it’s selling too quick. Your worse than a women with changing that mind of yours LOL :0 well done, you should be chuffed that it sold so quick, it’s awesome.
