I have been looking at the work of Bill Henson in recent days and have gained some inspiration from what he does and why. I recommend you check his work yourself it is beautiful and so different to what we are used to. His landscapes are amazing, lots of black which is totally against what I have been doing in the past. I have been going for detail, show everything. Bill hides stuff away from the viewer which adds to the mystery and what he is trying to say with his work. Don’t discount it, this guy sells work for tens of thousands of dollars. It is true Fine Art Photography!

I took this image yesterday whilst I was waiting for the rain to stop. I had the back tailgate open and I was sheltering from getting wet. As I looked up I thought what the hell. I saw an image my good mate Tony Hewitt took in the US recently that had all these gulls in it. It was typical creative genius from Tony that I have gained inspiration from. Thanks Tony.
