Shot my first commercial job exclusively with the Fuji X100. I did look a bit lame handholding such a small camera but in reality it was more than what i needed for the job. This was for the Bike Shed in Dunsborough. Yes and it is true, I am a MAMIL (middle aged man in lycra) and proud of it!

Is that your pink bike up the top left ?
No I believe that was Tom Putts in for a service and makeover!
Hi, Nice shots, it’s a great little camera I finally picked one up this week. I use my Leica’s on jobs pretty often and get the same looks so should be all good for me…
Did you just use natural light or try the x100 with you strobe gear?
Mark
All natural light and handheld. Would liked to have the quadras though!
Where’s the pic of the MAMIL????
I actually posted one way back on the blog Julie, you will have to go fishing if you want to see a real cool MAMIL
Well, it could have been worse, it could have been Merv in lycra!
Yikes easy Steve, dinner is coming up!
Remember the farmer when we were out shooting “oh so you have the professional camera” he said to Christian and the Phase One as I just had the Fuji round my neck like a 50s tourist. But that’s cool, the Fuji will wow the people that know
For stuff like this I would say the Fuji is actually optimal! As it has no AA filter it delivers so sharp crisp images.Love the purple frame!
Yep the framer who knew a pro camera when he saw it!
Hey Flemming , the Fuji has no AA batteries either !!!!
haha Merv, don’t worry, Phase will address that one day!
… but i thought you were the Middle Aged Man In LATEX
Join me Paulie, we get to drink coffee and look very colorful in a coffee shop. Your Italian, it is in your blood!
I linked your blog post to the X100 forum, its inspiring for amateurs like me to see pros using the same camera for assigments!

Selling prints in my gallery taken with the x100 too.
I’ve been using my x for lots of my press stuff. Yes, some people look at you a bit funny but hey, I’m a Brit and used to that!
Haha yes we will all be going to get inferiority Complexes
Love the poster!
