I would like to find out if your grandfather may be my grandfathers brother? My grandfather lost contact with his family during the depression when his father was killed in a train fire.He was fostered with his aunt until he was old enough to leave.
Our whole family is unsure of Charles Fletchers family.Charles and Betty Fletcher had Three children. They lived in Lapsley Rd Claremont. They had three children Malcolm, Max, Elizabeth Fletcher. My Grand mother Betty and her sister Shirley, my mother Elizabeth and myself Cassandra all went to Methodist Ladies College. Malcolm, Max and my two brothers Stanton and Warren Smith went to Scotch College.
I am the oldest daughter of six children my parents were farmers in the Gnowagerup Shire near the Stirling Rangers and we all attended the Borden Primary school. My parents sent us to Perth for our High School education.
Our oldest daughter Sarah is in England on a working holliday and will be visiting Betty Fletchers mothers family while she is there. Our youngest daughter Hayley is doing a traineeship this year in Busselton during her gap year and will go to Murdoch next year doing Conservation and Wildlife Biology.
I would like to meet and see if we are related.
Do you have any sisters? or aunties? it would be great to find out by chance.
