Ok just when you thought you were sick of portraits here is another! I must say it is nice to shoot different stuff. I enjoy the altered landscapes too as they challenge you and it all teaches you something about getting better images. I think the more varied your work the great the improvement you will have. Makes sense really.
My subject is an amazing Jazz singer named Sarah Mckenzie. She was onboard the True North performing every evening for the guests. At 23 she has already achieved some fantastic milestones including performing with James Morrison, and Michael Bubble amongst others. You can find out more about her here
If you are looking for some music to go with your latest slideshow or video project contact her for full details of what she has to offer.

Would you not of moved her a little and got rid of the pole coming out of her head
Pole what pole? haha, I’m a landscape guy who takes the odd portrait or two, never even saw the pole! Anyway I like to break the rules Hazel :-0)
I love rule breakers….I am one. but the pole is a little distracting in such a beautiful portrait.
She is very good live isn’t she. I saw her the other night at the Ellington Jazz Club. A great pianist and singer.
I noticed the pole too
but then again that comes from shooting people all the time.
My favourite faux par of my own is in botanical gardens where there is spiky grass bushes or palm tree in the background. Oh I have lost count of the times I have come home and thought “pineapple head” or “side show Bob” when I have put people in the wrong place.
Loving the work btw… would love to get on a True North cruise someday myself… might need to win the lottery first though.
Beautiful CF! I didn’t notice the pole until I read Hazel’s comment!!!!
Bubble or Buble’?? Thought I’d get in before Merv!!!
bubble buble, the guy can’t spell either
She’s gorgeous, but I’m with Hazel, you really must watch your background and not have all those lines sticking out of her head
I listened to samples of her new album and she is great! Those folks on True North certainly were very well entertained!
