This time it was my turn to shoot Jen. She decided to wrap her scarf around her head and it worked nicely, she would make a nice Afghani girl. She wouldn’t take any sh1t from the men though and she would whip the Taliban into line pretty quick! They don’t call her “the Jen-ral” for nothing.
Having one of the True North tender boats under the falls add scale. I think this bloke had the wrong idea, notice 3 girls in with him and not a camera in sight! What a waste of a good waterfall!
Recently my wife and I have been thinking about setting up a studio for portraits that interest us, a sort of creative outlet that is more about fun than anything. Well I have put it all together and now it is time to experiment. This is a Jenny Fletcher photograph of some big hunk of spunk. I did the editing and hell was it a challenge making something so perfect look aged and weathered…… don’t know how I did it!
If you have lots of money and want a custom studio portrait done let us know. Sorry no babies, children or animals. No smiling, no smoking and no complaints!
Man it is tough in the real world! I am just going through the usual Post True North Depression that seems to happen to everyone who does the cruise. The real world is for others, I was born to be a 5 star kind of guy.
I had a blast on the TN and managed some pretty good pics that will hopefully make it to the Kimberley Project exhibition some time in 2012. So for now you have to look at my rejects. This is Montgomery Reef from the open door of the True North Heli. Thanks to our awesome pilot Howie for letting me open and shut the door mid flight.

Damien Blythe at the Piazza in Northbridge interviewed me a few months ago and has posted the result on You Tube. I think it took him so long to get it together due to the poor content of the interviewee. If your having trouble sleeping watch this and your insomnia will be cured.
