For those of you who may not yet know. Apple TV has just included Vimeo on it’s play list. If you seriously want to watch awesome HD content on the big screen in full HD you better check it out. Full surround sound with an earth shaking sub also helps.
It’s frigging awesome.
Maybe some of you photog’s can produce slideshows of your work and then have it watched by millions all over the world. Mind you watching still photos can be pretty boring. Shoot video I say…..
If you don’t have an Apple TV and a big arse carbon spewing plasma on your wall your missing out on what HD is all about.
Get on it people…..

Thats cool, its only $130! Would love to see Michaels videos on the TV.
Might have to invest in one now.. I put all my wedding client’s video’s on my vimeo channel
Boys the playback is full HD and is well worth the investment. You can play all your music from iPads, iPhones, iPods straight through your Apple TV to your stezza. Paul your clients will be able to watch their wedding on there TV in full HD also you can market your services to people so long as they have an Apple TV that is…
Still dont see the advantage of apple tv over just plugging you computer straight into the tv with a hdmi cord? there you have absolutely no limitations..anything you can do on your computer in HD you can watch on your tv….cord is cheap and chips too!
hell you could plug your computer in and edit your videos in fcp on the tv if you want aha
My current setup is a micro PC that is running windows 7, I can already control iTunes on it from my ipad and iphone, it also has a blu-ray player in it. I can play any media across my network with it and load any browser.. but I think the Apple TV would be a bit more simple, if not as flexible..
I have already tried that Matt and the result is no way as good visually or sound wise. Vimeo through the apple tv seems to play the full HD file as apposed to the compressed version you get on there player. So I’m telling all of you non believers out there. Get ATV and you’ll be blown away.
