Well it has started, a couple of weeks back we had our first of several trips to photograph the South West like it hasn’t been seen before. The same team from the Pilbara Project have gathered along with guest shooter Nick Rains. We have a super team of Landscape photographers
The first trip started in Albany and worked its way back to Bridgetown shooting all along the way. Next we are heading inland and following the old country towns to Bremer Bay. For that trip we are taking our own Cessna 172 and Pilot. We hope to shoot a lot from the air as this gives you such a great perspective.
As a group we all have so much fun, the banter between us is constant and having cb radios in the car it only stopped when we were asleep. Here are some pics of the boys. Thanks to Tony and Nick for some of these images.
Stay tuned for more stories to come from the project as well as announcements on the exhibition dates and a super workshop that will blow your minds!!!

Looks like you guys had some fun out there eh…albiet looking a bit cold on it!
Some cool pics there to boot little buddy!
Looks interesting.
I like that aerial shot.
Looks like Nick might be onto something there as well.
Looks like a lot of fun! I really like the image of Les with his surveyor’s tripod struggling through the arctic snow.
I love the misty mood that’s going on in those trees (magical) and shooting from the air is a fantastic idea! Can’t wait to see some more of the teams sneak pics…
Nice, the aerial stuff sounds very promising. But… 6 photographers and a pilot in a Cessna 172? Might get a bit crowded
Anyway, hope you will keep us updated with more behind the scenes shots as the project progresses.
Well picked up Armand! Me thinks I would be having my rig on for that flight as well!
Maybe two of them will have to be strapped to the wings (also provides a better view
Now that would be a shot worth taking Armand!
Wow, there are some beauty’s there, love the misty one and the lads on the beach!! great stuff!!

Some folks have all the fun! Here I was just chasing three feral dogs off my farm and dragging an escape artist of a goat back into its paddock and then I see you all “suffering”. Makes me want to chuck it all in and fly back to Oz!
Looking forward to some new images, particularly the aerials.
