Behind me is one of the prettiest scenes in NZ, the view across Lake Pukaki to Mount Cook. I liked this view better as it hasn’t been shot before, probably for good reason!! Big plain skies can look very cool when you have some scale in a pic. I just love this sort of image. The light for the epic scene was average so sometimes you need to look behind you and shoot the more banal but to me more interesting.
