It’s official….After months of organising, Philip Bloom, legendary Video Guru, is going to be travelling on the True North for Trip 1 of the 2012 Kimberley season. After completing his commitments in Australia and New Zealand Philip will be travelling to one of the worlds last true wildernesses imparting his knowledge and filming this region and you can come along to share the experience.
Details of whats on offer are yet to be finalised but if you want to learn from one of the leaders in the video industry and experience a trip of a lifetime then maybe you should be looking to get onboard. This is the trip to be on for dramatic skies and raging waterfalls. Perfect for those of you who shoot video.
It may also be an opportunity to work with awesome cameras like the Red Epic and Scarlet and the new Canon glamour camera the C300. Not to mention 5D mk2′s and the new 1Dx whilst getting one on one training on editing suites Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro.
I’ll release more information as it comes to hand. You can leave expressions of interest here…..

Sounds really awesome but I did a video course with Michael Fletcher a couple of months ago and he taught us everything there is to know so I reckon I’m a full bottle.
True North trips always sound awesome, no matter who is on them.
Your too kind Muzz…hehe!!! The one thing I don’t have is a Red Epic and an English accent…..Do you think I should run a competition to give the blogging community a chance to join the boat??
I saw Philip tweet about it a few days ago, pretty darn cool stuff. TN in the Kimberley’s is simply epic off the scale, would love to go again – Philip could capture me shooting, fishing and in drag at the party, legendary ingredients for a documentary!
You in drag in a twosome with Rod Thomas in drag. Now that would be something special. He is planning to do a doco on the boat with Canon’s new C300. Pretty cool.
Very cool, will be cool to see what Philip captures from the boat. I also signed up for his workshop in Freo in March.
Rod and I in drag in a twosome? I think the space-time-continuum might just implode if that ever were to happen. Too much awesomeness.
I’m planning to go to his Workshop in Freo in March.. would love to be on the TN with him as well.. very inspiring.. not quite as inspiring as Michael Fletcher though..

That is one way of putting it Flemming.. I may even be on this trip HACK, will know more on the weekend
Too true Paul. Hack let me know if your going.
I’ve booked on the Freo workshop as well, not really to see Philip Bloom but I’m hoping to catch a glimpse of Michael Fletcher there – he’s a true legend.
On ya muzz. I’ll be there too. We can sit up the back and hang shit on the guy all night hehe!!!! It’s going to great sport. You rock Muzz….
Im there as well, but I want to see Phil Bloom not Mike Fletcher , i can see him anytime.
Yeah but I’m a hell of a lot cheaper too Merv……and I don’t want to see you either coz I can see you anytime too so there!!!!!!
he he he………. we can throw insults at Muzz on the day and both have some fun.
Yeh, I am interested…….sounds like a good trip !!!
