One of the places we travelled to was this amazing forest at the base of a equally amazing mountain. I was expecting to see an extra from the Hobbit movie that was being filmed close by. I love NZ and love my Phase One. The workshop is going really well and today I got to present in the theatre at Mount Cook. It was the most amazing theatre I have ever seen my work in. The screen was huge and the sound mind-blowing.

Just checked out the PODAS blog, the scenery looks amazing, looks like a lot of fun over there. Also saw a couple of shots of some big white lenses for the phase, i dont even want to know how much they are worth. I do really, what make are they?
Catch ya round,
Dan
Dan don’t panic they are the 300mm Mamiya lenses, not that expensive, I think about $4500, but don’t quote me on that. I’m waiting for the new 240mm Schneider, that will be out next year.
CF, the level of detail even at jpeg level is astounding! The woods are nice, but not much compared to my backyard. The mountains and lakes, on the other hand…
these were just some woods on the way to somewhere else but yes I have seen your woods and they are pretty good alright. I guess I will have to make sure I get on a Fall colour PODAS trip to your place mate.
Wait, when you mention your woods Steve I hope you are speaking literally and not metaphorically!! That sort of talk between yourself and Christian might be best served over private email ; )
haha nice one Kris
All this shot needs is some lambs in it,
Shouldn’t be hard to find some over there. !!!!
saw so many great sheep shots Merv, I was drooling!
