Hi all
Was shown a link to these awards. One of the ways to enter is to be nominated by others so if you feel that you would like to nominate me
go to this page Australia’s Top Photographers It closes on the 30th of this month so hopefully you think I’m worthy and you have the time to fill in the easy entry form. I would be very grateful. Cheers

http://www.vimeo.com/2919274 This is a short video of me banging on about my upcoming exhibition. It took me about an hour to record this as I kept stuffing up. It was a hot night and by the end I was sweating like a pig. Talk about stress!! It is so hard trying to act natural like your talking to someone not the camera. Shot on my trusty 5D mark II

http://www.vimeo.com/2904752 This is another one from Michael all shot with the 5D mark II this time. Love the shallow depth of field and the lighthouse shots are superb. Check it out. It has been hosted on Vimeo HD which is a big deal. Will be getting thousands of hits on it per day hopefully. Makes my piddly 956 hits a bit average!!

Hi all, sorry I haven’t posted for ages but I’m flat out getting images together for the exhibition on the 21st of February @ 7pm. If you haven’t already put your name down do so soon so I can organize everything. I have a few new images that I love and I’m not going to post them on the blog till after the exhibition. If you want to see them you’ll just have to turn up on the night. This one doesn’t make the cut but I had to post something. This goes back to my trip to the Kimberley 6 months ago. I was a little concerned about the crocs at this time in the morning, even though they were just freshies, it was a bit creepy standing on the riverbank.

No his dad isn’t a hay bale or even a potato waiting to grow in a rich farming paddock. He is the owner of Bellarmine winery in Pemberton. Talk about me name dropping!. Me and the Schooo, as I like to call him, are very close. Unfortunately he wouldn’t even know I exist!! That will change when he gets all the photos of his vineyard. “Well what in the hell are you banging on about Fletch” This is a photo of a paddock not far from his property. I know it’s a stretch but how else can I make myself sound important! And Mr Schumacher if your reading this, I can fly to Germany to photograph anything you want any time. Now hows that for self promotion!!! Actually the tire marks at the top of the photo may have been made by Michael or Ralf!!!
On another note, sorry I haven’t replied to any posts for a few days, I am just so busy it is hard to get time. Will answer all the questions by next week, promise.

Went to Margaret River with a flat battery on Tuesday. Was hoping to do some walking to get to some places I haven’t been but realised the effort might be in vain. Decided to stay close to the car park and shoot the surf. It was a great day for it as the swell was pretty big. Battery held out so I could have gone further anyway. Still it was a dodgy sunset.

http://www.vimeo.com/2716085 Last weekend Jen, the kids and I went to Karri Valley to get some shots for my upcoming exhibition on the 21st of February. I shot some dodgy video and finally plucked up some courage to get filmed. It isn’t as polished as Michaels stuff but it only took about three hours to edit too!! That imovie isn’t too bad and is really quick, you don’t need to render anything, don’t know how that works? Anyway you will get the idea, try not to fall to sleep. Have I told you how I love my 5D mark II
