http://www.vimeo.com/3278976 this is Michaels new vid of our other night at Wyadup Rocks. Pretty bloody awesome. Love the opening credit he created from filming the smoke from a stick of incense. Make sure you watch this in Vimeo not on the blog, click on the vimeo logo to get there.
More from Wyadup Rocks
Another from that spectacular sunset the other weekend. It’s all about the light, don’t bother trying to make it up in photoshop, light like this is pretty hard to replicate. Taken with the 5D 2 as per usual. I don’t use my pano head anymore, in fact I have sold it. Wish I had saved myself the money. I didn’t know that I could get away with stitching without one though. Hope you like!
Exhibition Opening Night
Well the opening night has finally come and gone so the pressure is off for a while. I don’t know about anyone else but I had an absolute ball. A few well timed glasses of wine helped but it was brilliant to see so many people turn out to have a look. I want to thank everyone for coming and making the night a success. I met loads of people all so keen on photography themselves, total geeks like myself. Michael should be knocking up a video of the night soon. These couple of pics I took before the crowds arrived. Went through almost 150 bottles of wine so I don’t know who was driving that night!!! Thanks again everyone for coming. Cheers.
p.s. launched the TNFP t-shirt on the night, the sales will be going through the roof now!!!!

Wyadup Rocks Going off
I was saying to my brother, gee I hope the guys in Perth are getting this light. Then I thought, hmmm, what are they going to stick in front of such an awesome sky??? I am so spoilt here I take it for granted. This afternoon was one of the best in a long time. No wind and a big swell. There were some surfers getting into some serious pits just to the right of this shot. Really awesome to watch. Shame this won’t see the light of day for a while. Am going to release new stuff every 3 months with an exhibition at my Dunsborough gallery. Don’t forget the 21st, for the opening of the exhibition in Mandurah, also get your orders in now for the iTNFP tee shirts. Go on, you know you want too.
TNFP shirts on sale now
With the TNFP filter being so popular amongst the greater photographic community I have decided to launch a new t-shirt that you can see above. This is a mock up of how it will look and the cost will be $35 per shirt. (If I can get the numbers to make it work) It is a short sleeve tee the pic shows the guy wearing a long sleeve tee under it, that isn’t included!!! If you want to keep the mystique of the TNFP alive order yours now. Send me an email christianfletcher@westnet.com.au
When people stop you on the street and ask what iTNFP means you can tell them it is more than words, it’s a lifestyle!
p.s. I am serious about selling these shirts, just incase you think I’m having you on.

This is what the logo looks like.
Time to get back to some shooting
I don’t mean the violent variety. We have had some great skys down here in the past few days. This one offered a lot of promise but I can’t get it how I’d like to see it. I don’t even know how I would like to see it!!! Probably why I am having so much trouble. Used my new Lee hard ND, still not sure about them, they smack of, hey he has used a hard grad!! It will take a bit of trial and error to get the best result I guess. This image isn’t my favourite and I’m a bit frustrated with it. Still it isn’t a bad stock shot. Maybe it is too colourful.
Shop at Coles on Friday
Coles is asking customers to plan their supermarket shop for this Friday (13 Feb), to help raise badly needed funds for the victims of the Victorian bushfires.
Coles, BiLo, Pick N.Pay and Coles Online are donating this Friday.s profits from all stores nationally to the Bushfire Appeal Fund, and hope to raise between two and four million dollars.
Now I hope this is true, I guess just check with your local store before doing a big shop. I think our Coles here in Dunsborough is the most expensive in the state, typical, so I’m hanging out to shop big and donate to the appeal. I won’t be buying any Coles Brand product either if there are any Cole Executives tuning in. I don’t like how more and more of it is creeping onto the shelves.
When they say profits, who audits that??? How much profit do they make. They might have the biggest day on record get all the hype and then say, ah, we only made a few hundred today, sorry!!
Please someone set me straight on this!
