Christian Fletcher has been taking photographs profesionally for over 18 years, and in that time he's had to evolve with every advance in technology and creative technique. It is such an exciting and challenging time to be in the industry, and Christian's landscape photos of Australia show not only a skill level but a real mastery of the craft.

All,

When you consider that the people joining Christian and the other tutors next month in Karijini are paying close to these amounts I feel it represents real value for money, considering the whole True North experience.

I have tried to keep the prices as low as I can so that an entry level cruise experience is there for those who want to step up and perhaps a once of opportunity to see True North in full swing.

In answer to your question, Craig...we certainly subsidized this years gig considerably when you consider we provided the cruise, lunch and dinner and the tutors within the price...do that math!

I am sure there are those who will step up to this concept and I do believe it will be popular as I know the cruising ground is awesome.

Time will tell I guess.

Cheers,

Have to say I agree with the above comments and statements. The trip next year will no doubt be a great couple of days and very popular but not something that I personally would do. The trip this year was a flawless day out at an affordable rate for most of us and I loved the concept, in fact it was far better than I thought it would be.

That said there is nothing wrong with this trip at all but I hope at some stage you can put something together that mimics this years Australia day trip, maybe in 2011.

Have to say I agree with Craig on this one. Sounds like a great time and cool trip planned but a little out of reach for us average bloggers - seeing as most of us aspiring to be photographers and cant justify an outlay of up to $5000 for a business that is really just a hobby.

But having said that you do have a business to run and no doubt you will fill the spots quickly but I would personally rather save my pennies and head out to somewhere I haven't seen before and have a holiday on the True North.

Good luck with the trip!

Heya Mark,

Would be a great adventure of course, who wouldn't want to be on the True North at any time. ;) Personally would be saving up to see the Rowley shoals when I get that bit of extra brass.

Just a question tho, and I don't mean for it to be negative, but I think some of us who went this year may have the question. Did the sums not stack up to be able to do the same format as this year, as it seems out of reach for a local sojourn for the average punter. Kinda not a very exciting announcement in this regard, if you know what i mean. And I totally respect you have a biz to run and may prefer to just keep a certain consistency in the level of service to customer for you journeys.

Cheers

Arhhh CF I have been considering a medium format since uni days (before digital) and now I am really considering it as with a digital back its nearly ( I say nearly) within reach. I wonder if the Phase One will come down in price as quickly as new release DSLR's? Not likely hey?- just wishful thinking on my part! I will dare to dream..

Not really my cup of tea. Love the storm shots... but all that shooting into the horizon isn't my thing. Looks nice but I like a detailed landscape that's well composed and discovered. But that's just me. I'm sure he has more killer landscapes in his collection, that arn't on the site.
