My daughter and I were feeling inspired on the weekend. We have revegetated the front of our block which had been cleared for what ever reason by the previous inhabitants. Native plants are so beautiful in their own way. So we collected lots of different types and set out photographing them. My daughter took all the photos, I even made her focus stack them, poor kid! Then we had a play in photoshop and made a couple of prints. What a cool thing to do with your kids. She is going to be a great photographer and a great environmentalist. Thats my girl!

I had a meeting with Mike Scott from Scott Print in Perth http://www.scott.com.au to discuss the printing of my upcoming new book “Down South”.
Scott’s have just installed their printers and they use the very latest green technology.
Not only can they print my book on recycled or plantation sourced paper every aspect of the printing process is green from the electricity to the handling of any waste.
Being Australian made and environmentally sustainable is very important to me.

My brother Michael (TVG) and I took a trip to Albany and the Stirling Ranges last week working on a Video for Phase One.
We really lucked in with the weather and all it’s moods. Whether we needed fog, cloud cover or sunshine the weather played the perfect host.
I will post some of my new images soon.
Thank you to everyone wishing me a nice day for my Birthday yesterday, I got to spend the day doing exactly what I wanted to. Very nice!
