Collaborating with Ian

Ian Mutch and I are working on some ideas for a collaboration later in the year. We love Ian’s work and have a couple of pieces hanging at home. Very honoured to be hanging out with one of the kool kids!. Ian had painted this mural a while ago and I had an idea to show the scale of the piece with him in the scene. I love the result. Always thinking of new ideas and moving forward.

Eagle Falls 2

11 Apr 2012 at 2:29pm

Another view of Eagle Falls after the rain stopped. We have been so lucky with the sky’s. Lots of  epic cloud.

We are cruising now after another awesome 5 star lunch. I think I am putting on weight!

p.s. I know the sky is blown out, practically looking into the sun. This is a good view of the falls and gives you an indication of the size of it.

H.R. Giger

18 Jun 2010 at 10:54pm

If Giger was a photographer this is what he would be into. When this started coming together I was pretty excited. In fact it is almost 11pm and I’m not even tired. I might have nightmares after working on this disturbing image all night. The good thing is my kids will have me up at 5.30am.

I was inspired by Dan and Leigh when making this image.

Shot on that bloody brilliant Phase One! P65 power load!! The 150mm Phase lens captured the action.

Rottnest on True North Update

23 Nov 2009 at 1:59am

Well the response has been fantastic, I guess the chance to get aboard this magnificent vessel is too much to pass up, forget the dodgy speakers. So now there is only 12 spots left from the 100 on offer. If you think you can make it ring the girls at Northstar Cruises asap. See you there.

Loving this Tone Mapping Stuff

22 Nov 2009 at 1:09pm

New Norcia is such a great little town to explore, being so close to Perth it is a great day out with the camera. This scene took my eye, loved the old bench, these things make great subject matter. The sign says, “Meet a Monk day has been called off!!”
