Here is Neals lens he won’t be needing now he has a 50mm f/1.2. This is still a very good lens as you can see by Neals images.
Wanted One Good Nurturing Home
Canon Lens needs good home, somewhere it will be fed only the best light, taken to the best locations and treated with kid gloves everywhere it goes. This lens has been spoilt rotten over the past 12 months and now knows no other way of being treated. So if you can you can treat this lens well it will treat you well in return.
Complete with lens cap and lens hood, no original box sorry.
Lens Type : Canon 24-70 L f/2.8 lens
I am asking $1100.00. Will including shipping anywhere within Australia.
Pretty much all my images on spoolphotography.com have been taken with this lens.
Interested parties can either call me on 0406 408 317 or email me at info (@) spoolphotography dot com
Cheers
Neal
p.s. more beer for me!!!

Rod has a bargain going, if anyone wants a new kick-arse 50mm f/1.2
I am wanting to sell ( regretably ) my one month old 50mm 1.2L Canon lens. I brought it from Discount Digital here in Sydney approx one month ago. There is a genuine reason for selling, and I dont really want to sell it, but for anyone that is serious you can email me on studio@rodthomas.com.au or call 0417 677966 for further information. Included with this lens will be a 72mm adaptor ring for anyone that has the Lee filter system and Ill pay for freight anywhere in Australia. I am asking only $1800, which is a saving of about $300. If anyone needs a recommendation for this lens, I am sure Christian will vouch that they are truly an awesome piece of glass.
This is my favorite lens and the one I use for most of my shots, get in quick!! Rod I like Redback!!!

I will be on the East Coast for 3 months shooting for my new book on Australia. I am thinking about running my night course over there if I can get enough interest. I will be in all states and the NT hopefully so if you could let me know if you would come that would help my decision to do them. It will be the same as what I hold in WA, i.e. cost $250 and includes free wine, Desert and a workbook. Not to mention lots of fun and learning.
This image was from a shoot I had last week with Mark. I worked this image for 1.5 hours then resized it for the web. Then I went and saved it that size and closed it down realizing I didn’t do a SAVE AS. Fudge’n Hell. Always hit save as, always hit save as, always hit save as………….
Also just clicked over 150,000 hits in 15 months. Man have I typed my little hands off!!!

[vimeo http://www.vimeo.com/3278976] this is Michaels new vid of our other night at Wyadup Rocks. Pretty bloody awesome. Love the opening credit he created from filming the smoke from a stick of incense. Make sure you watch this in Vimeo not on the blog, click on the vimeo logo to get there.

Another from that spectacular sunset the other weekend. It’s all about the light, don’t bother trying to make it up in photoshop, light like this is pretty hard to replicate. Taken with the 5D 2 as per usual. I don’t use my pano head anymore, in fact I have sold it. Wish I had saved myself the money. I didn’t know that I could get away with stitching without one though. Hope you like!

Well the opening night has finally come and gone so the pressure is off for a while. I don’t know about anyone else but I had an absolute ball. A few well timed glasses of wine helped but it was brilliant to see so many people turn out to have a look. I want to thank everyone for coming and making the night a success. I met loads of people all so keen on photography themselves, total geeks like myself. Michael should be knocking up a video of the night soon. These couple of pics I took before the crowds arrived. Went through almost 150 bottles of wine so I don’t know who was driving that night!!! Thanks again everyone for coming. Cheers.
p.s. launched the TNFP t-shirt on the night, the sales will be going through the roof now!!!!
